City Permit Path

Terms and conditions

Last updated August 31, 2026

These terms cover use of City Permit Path (Development Services Hub) at citypermitpath.com. They are a plain description of how the hosted software is meant to be used — not a substitute for a city’s own contracts or ordinances.

Staff use of the Hub

The staff workspace is for authorized city users: people invited or allowlisted by a city or platform administrator. You must sign in with the account the city issued or invited. Do not share credentials. Administrators are responsible for who has a role and whether a mobile number is stored on a staff record.

Transactional SMS

If a mobile number is saved on a staff profile (or by an administrator on Administration → Users), the Hub may send short assignment texts through Azure Communication Services when that person is assigned work. Saving the number is consent for those texts. Clearing the number stops them. See staff SMS opt-in. Message and data rates may apply on the staff member’s wireless plan. This is not a marketing program.

Not legal advice

The Hub is workflow software. Status labels, checklists, comments, and maps help staff process applications. They are not legal, engineering, or planning advice. Cities remain responsible for their codes, findings, and decisions.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available for daily city work. Outages, maintenance, and third-party limits (including Azure and wireless carriers) can delay email or SMS. Assignment still stands in the Hub even if a text is not delivered.
